Pelmets and valances use up the dead space above a window and hide the track and curtain heading.
Flat pelmets can be padded or quilted to give a softer appearance to a window treatment in either matching or contrasting fabric and the lower edge can additionally be shaped.
Valances can be either gathered or pleated with a decorative heading to compliment the window treatment.
Decorative valances, padded or quilted flat pelmets, fixed curtains, swags and tails are then attached to the front of a pelmet board.
