Here are a few familiar headings which make the difference when creating beautiful window treatments:
- Pencil Pleat: Traditional Style - these are folds gathered closely together to resemble a row of pencils laid side by side and can be used on curtain poles or track.
- Tab Top: Contemporary Style - these can only be used with curtain poles. Loops of fabric, either the same or contrasting, are stitched to the top of the curtain.
- Eyelet: Contemporary Style - these are suitable only for curtain poles and have a row of eyelets, which can vary in diameter, they give a much softer, wider fold.
- French: Traditional Style - very versatile, either pinch or triple pinch pleats form a tailored look and can be used on curtain poles or track.
- Goblet: Traditional Style - round shape resembles a goblet wine glass, very elegant and can be used on curtain poles or track.
- Smocked: Traditional Style - pretty and intricate detail can be used on curtain poles or track.
- Slotted: Traditional Style – elegant curtains with a generous stand up frill are slotted onto poles.
- Box: Traditional Style – pleated fabric formed into box shapes provides a very smart softer finish and can be used on curtain poles and track.
